Welcome to our study investigating the performance of time-limited humans on fine-grained image classification. In this study, you will be shown images of various dogs and will be asked to select the corresponding dog breed from 10 available options. The catch is that you will only have a brief time to view the images before having to make a selection.

This study is composed of 3 stages namely: the training stage, the qualification stage, and the test stage. Both the training stage and qualification stage will take under 5 minutes to complete. If you pass the qualification stage by scoring at least 90% (27 of 30 questions), you will be able to move on to the actual test.

The test stage should take about half an hour, and you will be compensated $12 for your participation. On the next page, we will provide detailed instructions on the 3 different stages. When you are ready, you may click the button below to begin. We thank you for helping with our study.
